Arundhati Roy is an outspoken critic of globalization and U.S. foreign policy. She has authored several books, including The God of Small Things, which won the Booker Prize, Power Politics, and War Talk. In 2002 she was awarded the Prize for Cultural Freedom by the Lannan Foundation.
