ITEM OVERVIEW
A fairly brief, but engaging critical history of the Iraqi Communist Party, and the class and anti-imperialist struggles it has been engaged in for the last 80 years. The main benefit of this volume (translated from the Italian) is that it is one of the few works available which even acknowledge (let alone try to critically engage with) a secular Left in Iraq, where that came from, and where it might be heading. Includes a brief introduction from Anthony Arnove, and a preface by Tariq Ali.
