This essay, from the English journal Aufheben, is a well-researched and excellent analysis of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Starting at the turn of the century and continuing until the present al-Aqsa Intifada, the author examines the origins and trajectory of the Palestinian national resistance movement as both a national liberation movement against Zionism-Imperialism and a social liberation movement and class struggle. It places into context the Palestinian resistance movement as one of the most important ongoing resistance struggles in the last 50 years.
