Originally published in 1944 by the British group Anarchy, under the title Italy After Mussolini, this is a brief, but gripping, account of the fall of Mussolini, the roles played by ordinary workers in that, together with the "counter-revolution," directed by the Allies and Italian State, and its aftermath.
